Public Safety Services

The Hideout Public Safety Department prides itself on providing the highest level of public safety services. The Hideout Public Safety Department utilizes a fleet of 5 camera equipped radio motor Patrol Vehicles (4 marked, 1 unmarked) dispatched by a state of the art 2-way radio communication system, 2 Lake Patrol Boats, a fully equipped Emergency Services Response Command Trailer, 4 Kustom Electronics radar speed enforcement units & 1 Speed Monitoring Awareness Radar Trailer, an animal transport trailer along with an Avid microchip scanner for pet identification and enforcement, a Jon Boat with a Rescue Alive ice rescue apparatus and a Public Safety Emergency Response Paging System. All Patrol Officers are 1st Aid, CPR and AED Certified with some officers being Certified Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT’s). All Patrol Vehicles are equipped with state of the art digital encrypted 2-way radios with all the necessary emergency lighting and sirens. Every Patrol Vehicle is also equipped with a fully stocked medical response bag including an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and oxygen tank.
